Impulse event for vocational school partnerships

At a networking event organised by Movetia and the ZSL, interested vocational schools from Switzerland and Baden-Württemberg networked and thus created a basis for future mobility and cooperation projects.

On 13 February, the first kick-off event for vocational schools from Switzerland and Baden-Württemberg took place at the GKS in Müllheim. We organised this matchmaking event in collaboration with the ZSL. The aim of the event is to enable interested parties to exchange ideas, get to know each other and find common interests or even project ideas. This will create a basis for future mobility and cooperation projects. A total of 40 leaders from 17 schools took part.

Organised networking

After the headmistress's welcome address and two short inputs, the interactive part began. The seminar is designed to encourage interested project organisers to find each other across the national border. Moderated by Ben Hütter, the participants had the opportunity to explore their vocational school, what it offers and the projects they would like to pursue, in order to then find partner schools in Switzerland or Baden-Württemberg. At this event, many important first steps were taken for a possible project: finding a suitable exchange partner and discussing a joint project idea.

    Schools that collaborate to develop new learning formats distinguish themselves from other schools through unique selling points they have developed independently. They position themselves as innovative institutions that contribute to a strong education system in Switzerland and play an important role in helping their students acquire skills. The pilot project ‘The Horse’, an initiative of the sponsoring organisation The Horse Education ! association (THE ! association), which is supported and co-funded by Movetia as a cooperation project, serves as a prime example of how international cooperation can lead to sustainable educational provision for vocational schools.

Anlässlich der Woche der Berufsbildung, die vom 4. bis 8. Mai stattfindet, teilen Lernende, Berufsbildende und Betriebe ihre Geschichten und geben Einblicke in in diese wertvollen Erfahrungen.
