During and after the project

Participants meet each other, gain countless new impressions and develop. You can support this process with targeted preparation and follow-up work. Here are a few tips to help you prepare for and follow up on your exchange project.

Successful realisation of an exchange project

Duringthe planning phase, you have laid the most important foundations for a successful project. We wish you and everyone involved a good exchange and valuable experience.

Support participants to have the most educational and positive experience possible:

  • Make your first contacts online and get to know exchange partners.
  • Prepare the participants for the intercultural experience.
  • Use icebreaker activities for the first meeting and create a relaxed atmosphere right from the start.
  • Reflect with the participants on their experiences, make them aware of what they have learnt and record it.

A well-supported project phase not only strengthens the learning success of the participants, but also the cooperation between the institutions. In this way, you create a sustainable basis for future mobilities and cooperation projects.

Report on the project

Share your experiences. In doing so, you will raise your profile as an educational institution and as an employer. You will also inspire and motivate others to organise an exchange or establish cooperation partnerships. Share the findings and products of your exchange with other players in the education system. In this way, your project will make the desired contribution to Switzerland as a centre of quality and innovation in education.

You can use a wide variety of channels, from internal events to association publications or specialist newsletters to media work at national level. For more information on how to report successfully on your project, read our advice article.
