The data protection statement applies to all Movetia websites. Compliance with data protection regulations by third party websites to which Movetia’s websites are connected via a link cannot  be guaranteed.

Data protection

Based on article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and on the Federal data protection regulations, every person is entitled to protection of their privacy and protection against improper use of their personal data. Movetia adheres to these provisions. Personal data are treated with strict confidentiality and are neither sold nor disclosed to third parties. In close cooperation with our hosting providers, we endeavour to protect our databases as best possible from unauthorised access, loss, abuse and falsification. When our website is accessed, the following data are saved in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request and general information about the operating system or browser. These usage data constitute the basis for anonymous statistical evaluations, which allows Movetia to identify trends and improve its offerings accordingly.

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are temporarily or permanently stored on your computer when you access this website. The cookies are employed primarily for analysing the use of this website, which enables Pro Helvetia to carry out statistical evaluations and ongoing improvements.

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses its own cookies, which are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyse how you use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will, as a rule, be transmitted to and stored by Google on a server in the United States.

You have the possibility of deactivating Google Analytics and thereby preventing the data transfer to Google by installing Opt Out-Add-On for your browser.

Salesforce

For sending our newsletter and managing e-mail marketing campaigns, we use Salesforce Marketing Cloud, a service provided by Salesforce.com, Inc. ("Salesforce"). The provider is Salesforce.com, Inc., 415 Mission Street, 3rd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a service that enables, among other things, the organization and analysis of newsletter distribution.

Salesforce stores and processes personal data to enable the sending of newsletters.

As part of subscribing to the newsletter, the following data is processed:

• Email address
• First and last name (if provided)
• Other optional information (e.g., interests or preferences)

The data collected is used exclusively for the purpose of sending newsletters and personalized e-mail campaigns.

The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation. The data you provided for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after unsubscribing. Data stored for other purposes will remain unaffected.

After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored in a blacklist by us or the newsletter service provider to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with legal requirements regarding the sending of newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The storage in the blacklist is not time-limited. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

YouTube

This website uses embedded videos that are hosted on the YouTube platform. “YouTube” refers to YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

We use YouTube’s “privacy-enhanced mode” to embed videos. As a result, a cookie is stored on your computer only when the video is actually played. According to YouTube, these cookies do not contain any personal information. If you want to make quite sure that no data of yours are stored with YouTube, please do not click on the embedded videos.
