Further advice centres
There is a large network of institutions and organisations that organise, support or advise on exchange projects. You can find a list and contact details here.
Regardless of which area of education you work in, you can find contacts who are tailored to your needs and bring expertise to the table.
The most important players in this network include:
Cantonal exchange coordinators (KAV): They advise young people, teachers and institutions in the divisions of School education and vocational education and training. Contact the CAV in your Canton.
International Relations Offices (IRO): They coordinate exchanges in the Higher education and training division. Each institution has a mobility office or IRO that enrolled students or employees can contact.
Swissnex: If you would like to start or implement a mobility or cooperation project outside of Europe, you can reach out to the offices directly for free advice and support, available up to a certain limit, as part of their start-up assistance, or you can leverage the expertise and network of the Swissnex locations through information webinars.
Have you not found the right funding opportunity here? These partners have a good overview of different exchange opportunities and offer advice:
- Intermundo – Umbrella organisation for youth exchange
- Eurodesk – European information network that aims to simplify and facilitate exchanges for young people.
- Studyinswitzerland.plus – Information for students on study programmes in Switzerland
