Quality assurance in national and international mobilities

Movetia has developed quality standards to ensure and further improve the quality and impact of mobility projects in Switzerland. These standards guarantee that all participants benefit from an enriching mobility experience by specifying the requirements for good mobility. They also ensure that the supported organisations contribute to the national strategic goals of exchange and mobility and are committed to a sustainable mobility culture.

The quality standards cover overarching principles such as national and international cooperation, innovation, sustainability and responsibility, inclusion and diversity as well as digitalisation. They provide clear guidelines for the implementation of mobility activities, the monitoring and support of participants and the assessment and recognition of learning outcomes. The quality standards apply to all mobility applications from 2025 onwards. They will be reviewed during the application assessment process and form the basis for the future accreditation procedure.

These standards not only strengthen the quality of mobility activities, but also the integration of learning outcomes into everyday education. Movetia thus promotes a sustainable mobility culture that contributes to understanding within Switzerland, to the further development of the Swiss education area and to international networking.
