The national agencies from Poland and Switzerland in dialogue
As part of a trip to Europe, six employees from the Polish Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA visited their Swiss colleagues. The result was a lively exchange on the range of mobility and cooperation programmes in the higher education sector.
On Monday, Petros Mavromichalis, the EU Ambassador to Switzerland, paid a visit to the National Agency for Exchange and Mobility. The focus of the visit was on the presentation of the agency as well as on the activities and projects with EU countries that Movetia manages.
Movetia represents Switzerland in the European Schoolnet
As of 1 January 2023, Movetia represents Switzerland in the European Schoolnet (EUN). The aim is to make this network useful for school education in Switzerland.

Schaffhausen verstärkt Zusammenarbeit mit Schweizerschule in Madrid
Jede Schweizerschule im Ausland ist mit einem Patronatskanton verbunden. Im Falle der Schweizerschule Madrid ist dies der Kanton Schaffhausen. Dank eines von Movetia geförderten Mobilitätsprojekts stehen den Schaffhauser und den Madrider Lehrpersonen die Türen der anderen Schulen offen.
There should be a greater focus on Interculturality in education and in our programmes. For this reason, we have been a member of the Society for Intercultural Education Training and Research SIETAR since January. The organisation is committed to strengthening interculturality.
There is no innovation without internationalisation
The «Innovation throught Internationalisation» conference took place on 4th of November. More than one hundred international and multilingual guests took part in the event. They learned from Swiss and European speakers how internationalisation and innovation influence each other.
