Swissnex offers support for exchange projects outside of Europe
A new collaboration between Movetia and Swissnex facilitates the conceptualization and realization of projects outside of Europe for educational actors. Support can be requested directly from the Swissnex locations.
Developing and executing a mobility or cooperation project outside of Europe involves unique challenges compared to collaborations with European partners, often due to cultural and systemic differences often play a crucial role. To address these, Movetia has partnered with Swissnex to provide additional support. The agreement went into effect this autumn.
Utilising Swissnex's experience and network
Swissnex is the global network connecting Switzerland and the world in education, research, and innovation. The six main Swissnex locations are located in the USA (Boston and San Francisco), China, Japan, Brazil, and India, offering interesting opportunities for cooperation and exchange for Swiss educational institutions.
The support provided by Swissnex is available to stakeholders across all levels of education. Whether you are developing a project idea, looking for a partner institution, need information about a specific education system, or require help navigating cultural or practical challenges, the Swissnex locations are here to help.

Tailored Support: The Swissnex locations are available for individual enquiries and assistance. If you would like to start or implement a mobility or cooperation project outside of Europe, you can reach out to the offices directly for free advice and support, available up to a certain limit, as part of their start-up assistance.
Swissnex has a proven track record in supporting projects funded by Movetia, such as the NextStep project with the cantons of Vaud and Zurich.

You can leverage the expertise and network of the Swissnex locations through information webinars on a specific region or personalized advice.
Information Webinars: Starting in 2025, Swissnex will host webinars focusing on selected regions and highlight sectors of interest to Swiss educational actors. You can register for the webinars, submit your questions and share your interests.
