Training on Erasmus Without Paper
Target group: exclusively employees of the central mobility office at a Swiss higher education institution or a college of higher education as well as employees of the IT department (if required).
Context
With the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), institutions commit to implementing the European Student Card Initiative (ESCI). One of the main objectives of this initiative is to gradually replace the exchange of documents by email with the exchange of data within a shared digital network: the Erasmus Without Paper network, or EWP for short.
To enable Swiss institutions to embrace digitalisation, Movetia, in collaboration with the European University Foundation (EUF), is offering training specifically on EWP. The training will present the objectives and applications of EWP and show you how you can implement EWP in your institution. It will be held in English and is divided into three phases.
Programme
| Session 1 | Introduction to EWP | 27 November 2025 – 14.00 -16.30 | online |
| Session 2 | Becoming an EWP Expert | 4 December 2025 – 09.30-16.30 | on site in Bern |
| Session 3 | Q&A Session | 15 January 2026 – 14.00-15.30 | online |
If you have little or no experience with EWP and/or your institution is still in the early stages of the digitisation process, we strongly recommend that you attend all three sessions. If you are already familiar with EWP, you can attend sessions 2 & 3 only.
You can find more details in the provisional programme.
